'European Anthology' is the third release on the newly formed LC² music label. Between the years 1987 and 1997 Larry Conklin recorded five instrumental CDs for the German record label 'Tucan' which were distributed world- wide by 'IN-AKUSTIK' (IN-AK).
Four of the CDs were released to critical acclaim, the firth CD 'Yellow Mountain' was never released.
Three selections from that CD are included here on 'Anthology'.
The 17 pieces are all in ensemble settings. The ever present acoustic guitar accompanied by the sparse instrumentation of saxophone, percussion, violin, harp, flute, marimba, piano, and gnzheng, a Chinese harp with 21 strings.
